1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app Gallery - Photo, Video & Home (the “App”), provided by kishan kanani (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

The App does not require you to create an account and we do not ask you to provide a name, postal address, phone number, or payment information.

2. Information we handle

Photos, videos, and media information

With your permission, the App accesses photos and videos stored on your device so it can display, organize, search, edit, share, move, delete, restore, and set supported media as wallpaper. Depending on your Android version and the permissions you grant, this may include media metadata such as file name, file path, date, size, album, and embedded location information.

The App's gallery features process your media locally on your device. We do not upload your photo or video files to our servers. If you choose Android's Share action, the destination app or service you select handles the shared item under its own privacy practices.

Installed-app information

Because the App can provide home-screen and app-drawer features, it may read information about launchable apps installed on your device, such as app name, icon, and package name. This information is used on-device to display and manage the app drawer and related launcher functions. We do not upload your complete installed-app list to our servers.

Device, usage, diagnostic, and advertising information

The App and its service providers may automatically process information such as:

• IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
• device model, operating-system version, language, country, app version, and package name;
• app launches, screens viewed, taps, ad interactions, video views, and other in-app events;
• crash logs, stack traces, performance information, available memory or storage, and diagnostic data;
• Firebase installation identifiers, messaging tokens, Android advertising ID, app-set ID, and similar device or app identifiers where available;
• Google Play install-referrer and campaign-attribution information, including campaign parameters that may be supplied through an ad click; and
• consent choices and locally stored app preferences.

Permissions and device features

The App may request or use access to photos and videos, selected-media access, media location, notifications, network connectivity, vibration, wallpaper controls, and Android's package-deletion confirmation flow. Older Android versions may show storage permissions instead of the newer photo and video permissions. You may deny optional permissions, although the related feature may not work.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• provide gallery, launcher, wallpaper, media-management, and notification features;
• remember settings, favorites, album choices, and other on-device preferences;
• deliver, measure, personalize, and protect advertising, subject to applicable consent choices;
• understand feature usage and improve the App;
• identify, diagnose, and fix crashes, errors, fraud, abuse, and security issues;
• deliver push notifications and service messages; and
• measure installations and advertising campaign performance.

4. Sharing and third-party services

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or allow processing of limited data by service providers that help operate the App. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid government request; to protect users, the public, or our rights; or in connection with a business transfer where permitted by law.

5. Your choices and controls

• Media and notification permissions: Review or revoke permissions from Android Settings. Features requiring revoked access may stop working.
• Ad privacy: Where available, use the App's privacy options or consent screen to review advertising choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID through Android settings.
• Notifications: Disable App notifications from Android Settings.
• Local data: Clear the App's storage or uninstall it to remove locally stored preferences and App-managed local data. This does not delete photos or videos stored outside the App unless you previously chose to delete them.
• Requests: Contact us to ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable law gives you those rights. Because the App has no user account, we may be unable to link third-party or aggregated data to you.

6. Data retention, security, and international processing

On-device settings remain until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies and service settings. We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

We and our providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our service providers, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Please review it periodically.
